Jiffy Griffiths is a drummer and musician based in South Wales. He has made a name for himself for his technical proficiency, stylistic versatility and energetic character. Jiffy started playing drums at 9 years old, and joined a youth orchestra on the snare drum and eventually started playing gigs with his brother on bass guitar.
Jiffy drums for the widely respected Cardiff based instrumental trio, Kinky Wizzards. He also works as a session drummer and has extensive experience of playing a vast range of styles in state of the art studios and live venues. He has also hosted drum clinics and performed at major drum events such as the London drum show.
Jiffy has been the resident tutor at Drum Depot for 9 years and continues his passion for sharing his experience and expertise with aspiring drummers and delivers lessons that are engaging, inspiring and fun. Jiffy can accommodate all styles, including rock, samba, latin, jazz and funk and no matter your experience, can help you develop drumming technique from scratch as well as progress through drumming grades, evidenced with consistently impressive results from his students.
He provides a learning environment in his studio with unique opportunities to play on acoustic and electronic kits, and give students an inside look into the world of recording video and audio for drum performances.
